Monuments: 'The Space Between'

| The island, once unreachable, has had its purpose rebuilt by the monument’s presence. The viewers see them first from below. Their structure has altered the landscape's silhouette, building upon it's peaks whilst appearing to have grown out of it. |

The
rough texture and organic shape makes it appear to have been carved from the
rock face. The way it suspends outwards and hangs is an acknowledgment to the strength
of the island’s flesh.

One
monument can be reached, one cannot. There is mystery in only being able to
view the lower monument, reflecting the same quality in the mystery of nature; not
all of it is able to be fully understood.
